Think you know what the future holds?Think again.

One of the great challenges in writing a book about the future is creating a believable setting in which the story takes place.  In all honesty, I can say that -as outlandish as some may seem- the settings in Syncing Forward are rather mundane compared to how I truly believe the world is going to look.  Advancements in every field of technology are growing so rapidly that developers can scarcely keep up.  Governments are failing.  Machines are predicting our behavior.  Coups are taking place.  Biotechnology advances at an alarming rate. Society is communicating differently.  Invasions of countries are unfolding before our very eyes.  The very way we socially interact is morphing year after year.  When you reflect on what your world looked like only ten years ago, you will see your environment has changed considerably.  Will the next great invention spell the end of humanity? Or merely be a stepping stone in our history?

On Facebook I occasionally post articles to show what could be future historical flashpoints, marvels of technology, and breakthroughs in science that will make you wonder if there is such a thing as going too far.
